The traditional gift for a first-year anniversary is paper.  Cory and I both share a love for journaling. I’m gifting a digital journal to Cory and all our favorite people. This allows us to share our thoughts and memories in a more meaningful way than a quick social media post. Here’s to capturing our journey together, one page at a time!

Born in Germany, my dad was in the army, followed in his footsteps with a twist, went to selection, and made it. Jumped out of planes, did some cloak and dagger stuff, led people into dangerous things (we survived), played hard (maybe too hard), went to Asia, the Middle East, Kosovo, and Egypt. Got married, have a beautiful daughter, got divorced, got remarried, and gained two more beautiful daughters. Bought a truck, gifted a dog, took a chance, and now I smile all the time

Ginger, our red heeler. Saw her on the local shelter page, picked her up, she dug her mission - China. No ball is safe from her, no golf cart can outpace her, and her little brother annoys her. Our life is on her time and terms. No need for alarm clocks, she sends you to bed and wakes you up.

Fox, our Belgium. Highly trained, highly motivated. Highly annoying little brother to Red. He's protective, he's demanding, he's a lover, he's a barker, and he's a certified service dog (Cory picked him up in Canada!). Like any other toddler, he will follow you into the bathroom...
